Born from a Lost Bid.
VSA grew out of Pro Graphics LLC, founded in 2017 after five years in corporate rebranding — specializing in window film, signage, and large-format wall graphics. The work was precise, the installs were complex, and the measurement problem was constant.
In 2018, a stadium bid changed everything. Fifty thousand square feet of self-adhesive vinyl heat-rolled into cinderblocks — football murals, food stall graphics, player portraits. Days spent surveying walls by hand to price it accurately. The bid was lost. Then came the call: the associate who won needed an installer. The rate offered was a day rate, not a retail square-foot price. That gap — between the person who measures and the person who wins — made the inefficiency impossible to ignore.
That experience, and watching others spend a full week measuring walls just to submit a quote, led to a single question: there has to be a better way to survey a job site. That search led to Matterport.
In 2020, the first professional scan: an 80,000 sq ft university cafeteria in Tennessee, captured in three hours. Every square inch. The signage vendor received a permanent digital asset they could reference around the clock — dimensions, surfaces, context — without a single return visit. The value was immediate and obvious.
Since then: millions of square feet scanned inside and out. Malls, embassies, corporate campuses, shopping centers, retail shops, warehouses, insurance claims. CAD, Revit, and PDF deliverables drafted within five business days. Amusement parks and museum virtual tours handed over in person in Mexico City. No space type left unserviced.
Today, VSA operates in partnership with RCE — a large international network of field technicians with the same standards and the same obsession with accuracy. The technology keeps evolving: AI is now embedded in the scanning hardware itself, and the pace of that change is what makes this work as compelling now as it was on day one.

The Stadium Bid
50,000 sq ft of vinyl murals across a stadium's cinderblock walls. Days of manual surveying to price the job. Lost the bid — then got hired to install it at a day rate. That gap between effort and outcome made the inefficiency impossible to accept.
Discovering Matterport
Researching ways to improve job site surveying efficiency led to Matterport. The technology made the problem solvable: capture the space once, reference it forever.
